WE KILL OUR EINSTEIN’S
“Creativity, as has been said, consists largely of rearranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know. Hence, to think creatively, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted.”
Here WE mean Parents , Teachers and Company Managers and Einstein are Kids , Students and Fresh Graduates . Before you turn out badly , We need to clear the psyche we are not offending any one we are not against the parents and experts . We are not attempting to demonstrate any one wrong and we are not attempting to tell we are genius but rather we trust God give us mind and information on these gift we can feel the flame . Society in which we live never permits us to think distinctively and talk uninhibitedly in their own specific manner. Let’s start from
For a kid, Home is considered the first learning institute and his/her parents consider first mentor. Unfortunately, parents do not permit them to think in creative way they bound them to follow the things they previously followed and bound them to trail the techniques and knowledge which their parents know so this thing lead to death of creative minds and kill our Einstein’s. When a child is on growing stages, what will happen if he/she makes some drawing on wall then his/her parents perceive that he/ she done some stupid/nonsense thing. Then parents clean the wall quickly and grasp the kid there is no meaning of drawing on wall and they also give them punishment to stop doing this type of stupid things. Then they try to train him/her to behave nicely but in fact parents may kill a great artist right at that time which will just stop designing after his/her first reward.
- INSTITUTIONS (SCHOOL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY):
The pattern we follow to teach our kids their first day in school to their last day of university is similar. Our education systems do not encourage the students to speak freely and think in a creative way. It is considered to misbehave and often punished for it.
I remembered when I was kid my teachers did allow me to write single word which they did not teach us. Our teachers did not encourage us to give their own opinions. The environment in which our students nourished is not good enough for feeding their creative minds. From the first day, we forced them to learn and learn only those typical things which we have learnt or heard from our seniors. Cultures in our institutions are not so much supportive of the nourishment of creativity. So our seniors not only dislike the creatively but also stop them forcefully so that those things will not happen again.

It is expected from the students to learn the lesson word by word, if anyone wants to explain in his/her own way then teacher thinks that he/she is lazy and duffer, but it is the beginning of his/her journey. How knows that his/her abilities of interpreting the things in his/her own way make him/her a great leader (Scientist, Doctors. Managers).

Students who buckle down in their education time period and get brilliant grades in exams. After completing education when they jump in to the particle fields with passion, ideas and dreams then they confront the new phase of life. When they apply for the job and afterward put their self on holding up mind-set due to late reaction .
FIRST Company will never call you after reviewing your resume that you are qualified from the well know institutes and having excellent grades.
SECOND After the long wait, you will use reference to get a job. when the company invites you for interview they will put you under stress with illogical question and reasons. you have no experience, your resume is not perfect even we know in our country their is no standard format of the resume and resume is not big deal when a person is sitting in interview. Normally our company manager thinks experience is degree but its not like this experience comes from job and you can’t get the job with out experience. Organization always gives the extreme level of importance to resume, basically it always use before invitation.
THIRD When you become lucky, the company invites you for interview. You appear in interview with full preparation and give the test, department interview and final panel interview. You sure about your performance that you will definitely get the job but the things are not like this the way you are looking. Because organization is not ready to accept the new ideas they also accept the status Quo approach. Even if creative mind people get the job then organization does not appreciate his/her ideas and considered these people a threat but organization defend itself by using the words like these people are doing destruction in our organization. actually they are not able to understand the creative things.

When fresh graduate starts facing these things on the regular basis then they start falling in the depression and become the patient or attempt on suicide. When they consult the doctors or close professional and share their situation and they come forward to helping them. If you want to get in field first you need to narrow your resume and you need to show yourself “B” grade student not “A” even you know the thinks perfectly but the person that is conducting the interview is not ready to accept you because of your extraordinary knowledge and he/she will not welcome your brilliant ideas and expertise because normally they came in fear if he/she will come in field he/she can replace them very easily and they will never do that.
We always talk about change we always talk about the rights we always talk about Foreign nations when we say are you ready for this then we always expect from others but we don’t want to be initiator. When we point the finger on others we always forget the three fingers are pointing to you. Very famous saying is CHARITY BEGIN AT HOME. It’s very easy if we start working on ourselves things will start changing automatically from any deep efforts. We need to understand today we are single or nothing tomorrow we will be the parents or the managers if we will not welcome the creativity today then other will not give the chance to our new ones tomorrow. With the help of psychological studies, we know that every person has unique characteristics, in respect of thoughts and imaginations. In other words we can say that for a picture every person has no same imagination.one person may explore different meaning of pictures while other person may focus on minor issues of pictures which really change the meaning. These different meanings and considerations are creativeness of our minds. So more creative minds means more new ideas, new concepts, processes product and technology. In other world to compete with the other nation more creative minds. So we should have to find more ways to act in different ways and it is possible only when we give chance to more brain to think freely and in efficient way. If we do not do that than we are not able to compete with other nations and still wait and look for help to the other nations (harsh but reality). If we do not appreciate the creative minds and insult them then we as nation become the bagger of other nation and this thing goes from generation to generation.

Forth, In Pakistan there is no interaction of industry with the education sector. Because education sector is giving the admission to the lot of students in specific fields that may not be the requirement of industry. There is imbalance between the demand and supply, due to this surplus un-employment is going upward day by day.

Fifth, in some private companies, there are strict recruitment standards. These companies specified some of universities and they only preferred to the students of these universities without knowing how much a person is competent. These companies do not give chance to the students of other universities even in their ads the name of universities are specifically mentioned. Selection is only on brand name not on competence and ability basis.
Six, when fresh graduates go for a interviews then, always ask question about the experience. question is that if no organization gives chance or welcome to the fresh person then how’s its possible that a person gets experience. Due to this, a lot of competent young people unable to get jobs.
Seventh, in organization interviews are taken by un-trained people. Basically interviews’ are taken by the people who have not same education background, no sound knowledge of the relevant field, just on experience basis most of person take interviews and ask questions from the person which is not relevant to the candidate field and expect them to answer according to the interviewer wish. This thing becomes a hurdle for the young people in getting jobs.
Side effects of unemployment:
- When young people do not get jobs this will lead to frustration and they involve in different types of crimes like theft, robbery and terrorism.
- Having no jobs creates the feeling of low self-confidence, un-worthy, depression and hopeless.
- Loss of trust in administration and the government and ultimately showing no love for country.
- The unemployed is not ready to put his/her abilities to utilize. What’s more, in a circumstance where it continues for a really long time the individual may need to lose some of his/her abilities.
- Government should pay attention to make the education system better. Along with the government, it’s the responsibility of universities to give quality education to their students.
- Retirement age should be reduced to 55 years to provide more employment opportunities to young people.
- Organization and government should take steps to eradicate the nepotism and favouritism. Employment opportunities should be provided on ability and skill basis.
- There should be proper interaction between the universities and organizations, so that organization can inform the university that how many employees they needed, what types of skills and abilities they possessed. Then according to this information universities give admission to the students so that after completing their education, they get jobs.
- Recruitment should be based on the young people skills, abilities and competences, universities names should not be used as a benchmark to give jobs to the people.
- Organization should welcome to the young graduates by involving them in some useful projects in this way, people can get experience and at the completion of projects, offer jobs to the competent people.
- Interviews should be arranged by some experienced person, who has the sound knowledge of relevant field. Interviewer should be un-biased throughout the interview.
